The NY State Legislature has recently approved the adoption of IECC 2015 (with alternate path Standard 90.1-2013) energy code, and plan for it to be effective at the end of September 2016. NY City is planning to adopt their version of a new energy code the same day - it will most likely have additional stringencies beyond the state code. Stay tuned for details.
